Capital Raise – The Planning and The Pitch

The Orchestration of Pointed Presentation to Investors.
(25 Pitches that worked)

You know your product and your customer’s needs.  The investor’s needs are different and can be overwhelming to management.  Yes, the Private Placement Memorandum and the strategic plan showing use of capital must be prepared as a cornerstone, but this is not the key to success.  The capital raise success is based on creating a selling tool that communicates the fulfillment of the investor’s goals.  The approach is to communicate the operationally workable business plan smoothly to investors so that it is easy to understand and is memorable.  Successful pitches show the need, how the business works to fulfill that need, the resources required, and proof that it can be done.  You must always address what the investors wants.  The presentation is short and crisp allowing the meetings to flow quickly into question and answers.  Creating a simple PowerPoint presentation is the key to pulling investors in.  Then investors come on board with the follow up questions that management curates.
